let's be honest: officious ref and throw a rock are both bad, but much worst throw a rock as i have to vaste my apo for nothing at the beginning of the half (and if killed can be remain killed)
so if they really want to keep this silly kick off , officious ref is better. |

- seasons
- making leap a nearly useless skill
- making wardancers worse and more expensive
- introducing passing characteristic
- splitting accurate and strong arm
- making high elf catchers pass worse than orcs and dwarf blitzers
- making the apoth near useless for anything else than ko or badly hurt |

Discouraging the passing game makes Bloodbowl boring and Bash . |

Every developed ball carrier becomes one now, because people just save for it.
I miss when random linos became them tho. |
Honestly, after all this time with the new ruleset, team development feels worse for longstanding leagues at high TV - everything is pretty cookie cutter in best builds, everything is accessible if you can bank the SPP, the value of chosen secondaries is abysmal but random secondaries are mostly foolish given the luck involved. As goofy as the prior rules were, there was something exciting about the 1/6 for doubles which could open up the sizzle, and getting Stat Freaks by chance.
The NFL style league I play in has a decent end around on some of this with a draft from the college league so you don't have to slog to rote best-in-shows, but there's very little good in this edition for the type of experience I want to have in player development. |

Res, draft leagues, just using the old progression system.
Whatever it takes to make this version usable for you. |
People always say "just use the system you like", but its difficult to get leagues going that way, because the default people will use is whatever the official rules are. The majority of leagues will just follow the current ruleset with a few changes to spice things up for themselves, and it is difficult (especially in NA times) to get enough people to commit to a new league, so good luck getting exactly what you want.
Even local tabletop leagues general default to the official rules. |

Yes, private leagues are not really a solution.
They could be a solution only with AI coaches and a customizable client. Then everybody could play their own ruleset and everybody would be happy. |

If you are OK with a 6, 8 10 person league, you don't have to compromise as much as you would if you want 20-30 people.
The more games that you want to play, speed of getting a game etc, etc.
[C] is the biggest league. That has some upsides and some downsides. |
Do you know how hard it is to get a new 10 person league started in the NA timeslots? Because I wasn't talking about big leagues in my post. |

I thought I'd covered that. |
