I am still having horrible problems with my Skaven. Another blowout game. And then one where I thought I had a chance to win, but with a fumble, he actually runs in, picks up the ball while next to me in an ice storm, dodges, hands it off and runs in for a turn 16 score to break the 2-2 tie.
I tried to setup the 1 turn score, but screwed up with the setup. So my skaven are now 0 wins, 1 tie and 4 losses. Luckily, I haven't picked up any serious injuries and had several players come back healthy. I picked up a fan factor I lost. And needing only 40K to add on a Rat Ogre, I got 30K. Figures.
In a late night game I played my Chaos dwarfs against another chaos stunty team. Sometimes the luck is with you, and sometimes it isn't. In this game it was. I was all over my opponents dwarfs. Pushing them around, knocked a couple out. His 2 bull centaurs were nice but eventually he ran out of hobgoblins to carry the ball.
My hobgoblins carried the day as I pulled off a 3-0 victory in a great win for me. Just seemed like everything I did worked. Not every block got me the knockdown I wanted. But I avoided many of the multiple double skulls that seem to haunt many of my games.
As starting teams we had to sacrifice something. We both went with the 6 chaos dwarf blockers, which are crucial for a successful CD team. But I went with only 1 Bull Centaur while he took 2. As a result I had 3 re-rolls while he only had 1. I wracked up my first kill today as well as a serious injury. It was a good day and my Bull Centaur, while he did have 11 blocks and 1 rushing yard, picked up the MVP. Oh, if he could have only gotten an injury or a TD. I definitely need to get them the block skill. A move 9 strength 4 blocker with AV 9 and thick skull is great.

As for my tournament game. Well my opponent hasn't even been on Fumbbl in 4 days and no word from him. We only have 3 days left to play our game.
