Optimism
Am I the only one who looks at the results table of a tournament, and thinks entirely about the best possible result? Here's how my thoughts often evolve over time:
"If I win every game in the tournament, I'll win!"
"There's still plenty of outcomes in which I win the tournament."
"If these specific 8 games have this exact set of results, I can still win!"
"I'll still at least stay in this division if I win the rest of my games."
"I'll probably still stay in this division."
"If these specific 8 games have this exact set of results, I'll manage to scrape through to stay in this division."
"If I win this final game, at least I won't come dead last."
"Ok, it's official, I suck."
"If I win every game in the tournament, I'll win!"

I reckon you'll get a prem title soon enough irgy, you're a good enough coach - just need the team and luck to click. Don't forget SWL is the toughest comp going.
