Fear the flings, they're coming out for you!
I've had a pretty bad day today. Two bash teams - you know, the kind of guys who think scoring is an option. 16 fouls per game's much better. Especially one of them. And I lost. But that happens.
I then decided to go against Zons. Dunno why, I just felt like it. It sounded good until the opposing coach decided to stall. I have nothing against that, if you need it to win. But if you don't, my Sammiches will definitely come out for you.
No, they can't run. No, most of the time, they can't prevent you from delaying a touchdown. But they can scratch and bite. That's their way to say "come on, you're sure you wanna do that?". But some people can't get it. Ask their last opponents. Oh yeah, the Sammiches lost the game, pretty badly. But they also decimated this stupid women team.
They could have done better, and for sure they will. Only 6 players badly injured out of 13, and zero death. But that's a good start. Sure, the Sammiches also had their main star injured (stupid apo), but after such a rough day, I think it was worth the price.
And... Pipin Piethrower made it to the top flings bashers.
But there's a moral to this story: never piss flings off when they have had a bad day. The pie they'll trow at you will be full of nails.
PS: Thanks, Oldfella_Tryhard, just for being a normal person and offering me a very interesting match. The only one I had today.

A few points.
Some games with flings, you literally stand no chance. When you get stalled on, in those situations, it's pretty lame. Still you gave the zons something to think about.
The 2 Chaos teams, looked pretty cool for chaos. I don't think you've had any really bad match ups in your last half dozen or so.
I think probably playing at 2000k (as you did against one of the chaos teams) is going to be hard going for flings.
Playing up, is always a good idea, get the chef for 150k. So playing 150k is optimum.

To be honest, the 0-2 vs chaos wasn't too bad, if you consider I missed 2 huge opportunities (4 skulls block before I pick the ball in his half - there was a huge opening, and things that didn't go to well when I used the wizard - I should have used it earlier).
And yup, there was a huge TV difference versus the chaos team, but it's generally easier to compensate than with other races, especially when they spent their TV in skills that don't really affect you, like Claws. But it's always tough, yeah.
