Always wondered if we will ever see dungeonbowl on this site?

There's a java bowl and of course cyanide. It's not a competitive game though. Only fun for a short time until you learn how to abuse it.

"How do you abuse it?" Biggest big guy wins. Get all your tough guys on the pitch and stick in pinch points and wallop elves as they try to gallop past.
Secret weapons do not get sent off, as first TD wins......so, put the roller on the pitch first meander to a point where a TD attempt would have to pass him and wait.

To some extent yes. However, having 1 dungeon kind of takes away some of the appeal and also there will always be doorways and pinch points.. It's fun, of course it's fun, but it's not a competitive game and gets less fun quickly.

The best abuse I found was someone who blocked a corridor with 2 prone players.

Rules I play by are that anyone can leap over prone players (or any square not occupied by a standing player or wall.

In a table top league ages ago, we partially solved the pinch points by adding in random teleporters (exit disorientated D8 for direction) & expanding the corridors to 4 tiles wide. But we also did a massive 4 way match with pit traps that were flipped over to reveal what they were- spiked pits (+1 AV) or trampoline traps(fly d6 squares in d3 direction) ^^ Also the ball was in a chest (there were several). A big favorite, but fairly time consuming with 4 coaches.
