Chuck down one more Personal Goal
We all play BB for our own reasons, well its hopefully always about the fun, but we all have fun in our own way, as someone far wiser than me once said.
What gives me fun in BB is setting myself projects and then seeing them true.
On fumbbl I have had many team projects as I have blogged about before, but this time I had set myself the goal of reaching 180CR, and with a little luck with my two newest teams (skaven and undead)I got their today.
Kinda surprised there is no award for it, I hope adding a ton load of awards is something on Christers to do list, since its an easy way to give people something to strive for.
Anyways, just wanted to share this while I have the chance, I am sure I am heading towards a string of losses that will dump me back down the list, but untill that happens ill take a shot at seeing if you can get to 190CR, anyone ever do that in recent times?

I think the awards are busted.
I recently went over 160 BWR and nothing showed up.
That said, the Major Winning Streak award appeared for me yesterday, so maybe only some awards?

_0/ ya gota realise thoygh that actual cr does not count for much these days. there are a lot of very skilled coaches with avaerage cr and also some average coaches with high cr.
Imo cr is not a true guide to a coaches skill level, it is more a very rough guide.
cr is easily gained by either picking weak oponants or by having Strong teams.
grats on getting to 180 but its better to win tournies or leauges ;-) thats where the real glory is !

There is no true measure of coach skill bar your own opinion. So just have fun with whatever you have fun with.

I love chasing awards and creating silly projects and it kinda breaks my heart that the last couple of dozen awards I should have won are not added to my awards page.

@PigStar I make no claim that CR counts for anything at all. Nor do I think I am an 1337 coach because my CR now says 180.xx
I know my own worth as a BB coach :) this was a project for me, and like every other goal there is a means to get there.
I dont say its easy either or that everyone could do it. But for sure its not a devine messure of skill, it just requires you to play a certian way for a periode of time.
This I have done, and I had fun doing it, since when I am playing with this mind set every single game I play feels like a final match, and I treated it like such :) fun but also stress full.
So now I need to decide with myself if my next project is to try and see if its posible to go to 190 in a forserable furture or if I need a new project :) or resume an old one
@Purplegoo as always you hit the mark spot on, things are that simple :) I have a list in my head of people I consider skilled, so I was very glad I got to play you at the Danish open becuase your just as good as I though you where :)
Hope we get a rematch at the euro bowl

IMO that is about winning something not about being called the best.
I suppose some people are a bit down on CR awards in case they encourage pick/cheese fests.

Idea: play a team usually known for min-maxing or spamming clawmbpo and play them a different way. Like take a nurgle team and make them damn near impossible to deal with. or a all marauder pact team that can do anything (run, catch, throw, screen... ect.).
