One World One Blood Bowl #17, A Bit of Banter over Better Blood Bowl Beta?
With FUMBBL trailing its new gamefinder beta, and Blood Bowl three running its third (3rd!) beta, i have gathered a gang of Blood Bowl players, and streamers of (mainly) Blood Bowl 2, and asked them for their feedback on the new BB3 beta.
First question to all is how much FUMBBL they've played. How much 2020 they've played, and then how that informs their view of the bb3 beta.
It will be live, on my twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/purplechest on Sunday 12th June, 9pm BST, that's 10pm FUMBBL server time and 8pm UTC. One day later it will appear as if by magic on YouTube and spotify.
This time i have added one name to the roster that dissected the last beta, because everyone said 'X' is missing, so 'X' was asked, and said yes. 'X' being 'Enarion'.
PurpleChest: Online Optimizer That Hates Fun, and loves the sound of his own voice.
Elyod: Perennial BB2 chalice qualifier and habitual streamer, smart enough to know science and stuff.
RickWreckless: The nicest man in Blood Bowl (tm) BB2 chalice winner and Table Top coach. Quite popular streamer.
JimmyFantastic: The godfather of Blood Bowl streaming. Won more trophies than people realise.
AndyDavo: Top rated NAF coach, BB2 legend and hugely popular streamer yet weak in the face of goblins.
Enarion: Bringing some class and actual games knowledge to the group. BB2 coach and streamer, and 'does something in games'. Unlikely to be disagreed with.
Should be fun, its a live chat, that then becomes a VOD on twitch, on YouTube and as a podcast on Spotify.
Consume it as you wish, or ignore it entirely. Other more mediocre coach ability but fact based podcasts are available.

As the panel has a lot of the big streamers on it.Are the panel concerned about the possible drop off in viewer numbers. I feel there may be less interest for a number of reasons, not least the watchability.
In addition is the player base going to be much smaller, as the uptake for BB3 may be less than Cyanide want. I won't be buying it as it would need a newer PC. And I am not buying one just to play BB3.
