There used to be a download page with resources for the old client. Of course it's defunct, I have no idea how many of the downloads are still up.

Hey harvestmouse,

This file contains all the images you'd see [and sounds you'd hear] in the client (except the customizations like team logo and custom pictures that are set for some teams).

- Action icons
- Player icons and portraits
- Animations for fireball, lightning, bomb explosion, card play, kick-off events
- bloodspots
- pitches
- action cursors
- icons for blocking, gaze, doh etc., arrows
- replay buttons
- weather icons
- dice
- sidebar icons (inducements, buttons)

I believe that this file, along with "FantasyFootballClient.jar", is downloaded somewhere on your system via JNLP magic when you open a client: hence it takes a long time for the first start / when the client updates.
