"On the last point, I don't mind kicking into a corner to cause a touchback to make the passing job easier. I don't always remember, though." <-- To me this is deliberately playing poorly to give your opponent free SPPs they didnt earn.
Likewise failing to kill those players on your last turn is unfair when someone else applies a different policy - you are being too lenient and giving them an inherrant advantage.
Happily these two problems cancel out if you believe in fouling... kicking it so they get an easier pass makes sense then because it reduces the chances of having your head kicked in :D

would have to disagree on point #3. Blocking can result a CAS and that's spps and that's important. so expect it to happen 99% of the time. Secondly, it's very virtuous. It honors the virtue of revenge! Remember this is the Warhammer world, not the Christian world. Pulling the skull off your enemy's twitching corpse and parading it around to all the rabid bloodlusting fans is a well honored bloodbowl tradition to signal the end of a great game. :D
As for turn 16 fouling, while normal in tabletop (a situation that has MUCH more friendly banter and comradery) is just seen as badform in the silent online medium which fumbbl plays in.

Sod, clearly I don't mind fouling, so I guess everything balances out.
But getting a pass in on the last turn might give you the advantage of an extra few points, but it doesn't run the risk of crippling the other team and negatively affecting their next match. Just seems different to me.
Arktoris, you make it sound like I'm Christian. I'm not. And if you want revenge, play a follow-up match.

Vol, you don't have to be Christian to have Christian values. Western world values are based on Judeo-Christianity.

Arktoris, that is a whole other blog. There are some values that are not limited to the god of Abraham.

"I know there are coaches that will set up on the last turn of the last half and throw blocks, a blitz, and a foul, even though there is no chance of anyone scoring. All this does is affect the next match."
With the exception of the foul which does not get you any ssp, this statement is wrong - those extra ssps for cas can affect the next match - extra skills team development and such. Therefore it could affect your next match.

In soccer you say: the game's finished after 90 minutes.
In Bloodbowl the game's finished after 16 or 24 turns.
No need to limit oneself.

If I can kill a Troll (or other Big Guy) on my last turn I will.
Having your team forcibly culled is a GOOD thing. Else they end up bloated, dusty and boring, always having to play other boring bloated teams.
Kill my players and I end up with new fresh meat to put into the grinder.

I play to win. (though not very succesfull, that is what i do)
If game is decided, what reason is there to play on? Well...
1: Team development aka spp.
2: Cheer fun of hearing the RIP sound!!! (It is so.. so... Well, in lack of a better word it is perfect. You dread it and you love it!! RIP sound is GOD the Almighty!!)

I think Aktoris is VERY wrong. Fouling on TT is rare, and T16 is a BIG no no (at least with the friends i play). Online on the other hand you do hear that wonderfull sound when someone is RIPed. SI and BH isnt that bad either, and its loads of fun. Besides fouling in turn 16 leaves that extra mark on the game.

Shimin, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. I couldn't recall correctly, since the last time I seriously played table top was without IGMEOY.

You should try to score on the last turn if you think there's a chance you could pull it off. This is not limited to skaven, as all races, even in rookie form, can do a one-turn score.
