...Fouling
This is the next in my series.
I don't mind fouling. I think IGMEOY is a good thing, but I can't say as I was upset with fouling before. Now however, I think there is a nice mechanism for coaches that don't like fouling.
Coaches that don't like fouling, shouldn't. This will give the other coach at most two worthwhile fouls (in regulation play). If any coach wants to run the higher risk of being ejected for a foul, then praise be to Nuffle.
I have to admit that getting the ref can swing the balance of a game. I wouldn't mind if it were an option for unbalanced matches more so than a kick-off event.
I don't think Dirty Player is a bad thing. I don't understand having a lot of DPs on a team, though. It is like Leader or Kick. Sure, having more than one could help, but most of the time that is a wasted slot that could've been used for something more useful. I might occasionally have two, but never more.
I definitely think squisher teams should worry about DP more often than bashing teams. I like Skaven, and I have to say, they rarely get some big guys down, so being able to foul them in hopes that they don't get back up is nice.

i agree with pt0510... my khemri get their skeletons first skill as DP...thats just the way to go... with 5 3 2 7, they are pretty much useless. If they get hit (especially with MB) they will just become casualties... better to get them kicked out serving some positive purpose of trying to get some opponents key players out of the game.
That being said, I plan to have a few guys kicked out of the game that's just the way the game works.

I've made a little calculator too determine the ratio (chance of hurting a player)/(risk of being sent of), weighed by the players values. Using that it's very easy to see that it is very often worth kicking the crap out of players even though the ref is watching. That also motivates the use of multiple DP's.
