If you live in the states (or near a participating dealer world wide) head out to your local comic book store. Today, and only today, is Free Comic Book Day. The publishers and comic stores have a whopping 53 free titles today including something for everyone in the family.

For the adults and teenagers there is Walking Dead, a new Thanos (the mysterious bad guy during the credits of Avengers), and Star Wars book that's better than anything Lucas ever dreamed up. For the youngsters there is Sesame Street, Adventure Time, and more.

If you want to get a kid excited about reading this is a great, and FREE, way to do so.
