FFTK: Funs of the first day
Hah, the FFTK tournament has just been started (it's an all-lino tournament) where I started with an all-snotling Ogre team :-) Some highlights of the fun we had recently:
- Tripple POW against an amazon ball carrier! (Replay)
- Star player died on the pitch -- thx to the fans and a beercan of rocks! (Replay)
- 3 games so far, and it only costed me a single snotling!
- ... and many-many heroic actions! So far 3/4 was successful :D
I can tell you that I can almost state that they are a near-competitive team! :D (I cannot emphasize the *almost* word there though!). The team usually consists of 13 snots, Nobbla Blackwart/Bomber Dribblesnot, Brick Farth and Grotty, and sometimes a wizard too!
The blodger chainsaw is extreme fun in an all-lineman composition and an Ag4 Gobbo is a really great help (not to mention his St2 which is the double what everyone else on the team has! :D). So it's a great fun to lose with all these conditions! :D
I'm intrested if I'll have the luck to beat anyone in the tournament :D

I thought there was a limit on 2 Star players per game? League sounds like a lot of fun. Ill try to spectate some the games :)

Brick Farth/Grotty take up two roster slots, but only count as one inducement.

I saw some of those games (played one, spectated a second), and I think you missed an opportunity to score and escape with a snot. My advise as follows to consider when you start losing players:
Get the ball carrier next to fart, TTM, then cover the lanes with the other snots. It is risky, but in your 2nd game I believe it would have had a decent chance to equalize. (And you lost in a midpitch brawl against elves 0-2 instead.) I think there is absolutely no chance that you will outman anyone. But you can outplay them for sure.

@keggiemckill Yeah, @WoodPusher summed it up perfectly! It counts as a single inducement and you get both players. I'm not sure what if someone has 15 players... Is it possible to hire these guys?
