possibility
Possible that i missed something in rules, can someone explain this ?

If i have money at the treasury and after match i have 9 players, then i can't use yourneymen anymore or did i understand that wrong ?
Should i buy normal player instead of loonies ?

I wanted find that in the rules but i can't.

I would be happy to see some journeymen rules here.

How about Dark Elf team :

If i have 90 000 at the treasury, 3 de blitzers and one de lineman died last match then should i buy another lino instead of use y-men and wait to get more money to buy blitzer or witch ?

This is dark hole to the team death for sure, or team should start play only with linos, that would be correct with TV cheaters philosphy and correct with actual rules.

How much money did you have in the bank?
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-09 22:42:28
is this important ? 500 000 or even 1000 000
maybe next step should be press chaos pact team to buying troll, ogre and minotaur if they have a money, then will be less TV cheaters there.

I just wanted find these yourneymen rules, because my team has been blocked by this. I am not sure the rules.

koadah, i know where is help section, can you show me rules about yourneymen ?
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-09 22:53:58
Teams in competitive divisions are expected to strive for at least 11 players on the roster. While this doesn't mean that any team below 11 players must immediately hire a new lineman, coaches are expected to not let the team deteriorate on purpose.

Is that mean, that yourneymen can't be used in Box and ranked anymore ?
Posted by pythrr on 2011-12-09 22:56:19
jesus, spiro, stop trolling

you know the rulings re: journeymen

Bank bollocks!
Posted by licker on 2011-12-09 22:56:53
It means if you irritate someone into reporting your team an admin will decide your fate based off of how much they like you.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-09 23:00:00
pftttthhrr you are the best troll here, that first.

Second, i'm do not writing here as often as you, so shut up mouth.
Posted by harvestmouse on 2011-12-09 23:42:56
Not true licker, I like spiro. Still he has to obey the rules like everyone else. As I pointed out to you before spiro, journey men aren't considered part of your roster.

Also, don't judge spiro too harshly, as he doesn't use the forums (not that I think there is a need to blog about it, when I was quite clear). So it's quite likely, he wasn't aware of the high profile nature of this issue, and the uproar a couple of months back (which was soley in the forums).

Oh and for future reference reporting teams are for naming offenses only, not for Journey Men abuse. Fill in a ticket for those, no need to lock teams up.
Posted by PainState on 2011-12-09 23:48:46
well that is an interesting point Harvestmouse...so if J-men are not counted towards you roster then could you...let say not play with J-men and play with a 8 man roster like in the old days.

High TV would like this. If they get beaten down one match with multiple MNG players then for a match they could play with out SE and maybe make some gold?

of course some would say that is J-man abuse by not hiring them and meta gaming the SE chart for a one game advantage.
Posted by PainState on 2011-12-09 23:50:49
that was devils advocate PainState.

Now for sober PainState: Spiro get over it man...been down this road and it is littered with a bunch of dead horses. Some of them so beaten down all you see are their hooves sticking out of the mud.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-10 00:26:55
i knew that my opponent reported that as offensive, but it's not by my yourneymen, but because i stole his win.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-10 00:33:03
ohh, and i have been banned on forum because i wrote about wrestle and chainsaw rule, that it's crap rule. Unfortunately afai_k it's some mega person on fumbbl and he sent ticket to admins, pathetic. ohh i wrote that wrestle & chainsaw rule it's idiotic rule and idiotic afai_k explanations about this. Can't even remember those explanations, but that was ridiculous.

Fortunately forum it's a pile of crap for me and i am not even sad, that i can't write there.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-10 00:40:03
Harvestmouse, one thing : if my 3 players are injured/ miss next game, then i have 8 players. What then ?

I must buy another players because i have money or i can use yourneymen ? If i will buy players then next match i will have 11 plus 3 more, obviously if nobody dies.

This is inaccurate.

'well that is an interesting point Harvestmouse...so if J-men are not counted towards you roster then could you...let say not play with J-men and play with a 8 man roster like in the old days.' No painstate, the rules state you must strive for 11 players on the roster and also to be competitive. Journey men are more competitive than invisible men. However, Journey men do not count as part of your roster. The more we go into these rules, and looking at ways around them, the more negative feelings are brought back. It's here, it's staying, I suggest dropping it already.

Posted by uuni on 2011-12-10 00:50:00
@Painstate: In the CRP the use of journeymen is optional, not mandatory - so as per them you can indeed abstain from journeymen as you wish. This has the effects you described on SE and also to the match inducements.

I am not very confident about my knowledge of the site rules in the issue though, so I think it may be safe to err to as many men per match as possible. It is embarassing to get sanctioned against per misunderstanding.

I feel that it may be within the site rules to abstain from joyrneymen for a single match or two, but as I said, I am not an expert in the site rules, and in case of doubt the guideline has been to consult the admins.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-10 01:02:54
I just want to know CLEAR : when i can use j-men, rules do not say that clear.

Or drop it

Spiro, i'm assuming that you are talking about your amazons (http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=675795) with 830,000 in the bank and no MNG players.

Can't see why you'd not hire replacement linos on that team.
Posted by spiro on 2011-12-10 01:13:53
so, maybe get some glasses.

And seriously now, is this against the rules in CRP or fumbbl, that team wants get moneys ? Amazons team have very terrible matches, and blitzers + catchers are not cheap.

deduction is: do not get money, die fast and retire them.

ps. some people should have learn how to send support ticket !!!

I think, that there should have been reason to suspend his account. There is even note, that accound can be suspended after using without reason.
Posted by pythrr on 2011-12-10 16:11:46
"my opponent reported my team with no reason"

no, you were abusing the JM rule.

Perhaps he should have ticketed you rather than reporting the team, but there was a clear and valid reason for complaining.

Peace and hugs

"start to be advocate some murderesrs"

Um. I do not know where to start here.....
Posted by harvestmouse on 2011-12-10 21:44:41
1. Your opponent didn't report you.
2. I'm not blocking accounts for an administration mistake I rectified within a few minutes.
3. Let's stop this crazy hostility before it gets more out of hand.
4. The spirit of Journey Men is to replace on teams that cannot field 11 players. However as you can't punch somebody in the face on this site for playing outside of 'the spirit of the game', this forces internet BB sites like us to do take action beyond the standard rules.
5. My understand and interpretation is, journey men replacing mngs are acceptable. However, there's a line here, which you've crossed once. I suggest you give that line a wide berth.

Topic finished.

Getting puched in the face brings back fond TT memories.

I played in a TT league that promptly disbanded after an incident with CL/RSC min/maxed Chaos team decimated a woodie team in our league. The fight went outside and the haymakers were thrown and low and behold the Woodie coach won the fight. Turned out the chaos guy was not so tough in real life. Well after that melt down that league was basically disbanded.

Mainly because no one wanted to really fight the woodie coach in RL.

true story.

I understand you Harvestmouse, i do not know who report that or if some admin block that team, doesn't matter, i know that my opponent been angry, because his big undeads mummys screwed match totally, after match my team was blocked like after report of offensive.

You said about people whose do not play with fumbbl spirit, what do you say about people whose are deleting healthy players, because they wants get lover TV. I can give you examples even now. they are experienced coaches.

I did not do that ever, if my amazon player died then i just played with loners, that's all. I do not know where is the zone at the treasure value where i should or must buy players instead of yourneymen. 300k 500k ? That rule is not clear plus i don't knew, that there is some problem with it. I mean, too much money.

If my dark elf team lost two linemans and i want buy 2 blitzers, but i have only 190k then what can i do with that, can i buy 2 new linemans because i need 11 as rules says or can i use 2 loners and wait to the next match to buy 2 new blitzers ?
