Real Life is scary & I am bad at dealing with it
So the last time I logged into Fumbbl was mid-december & since then Real life has stepped in, in rather a big way . . . Spent a large time of the Christmas holiday visiting my mum in Hospital, and the big storms that have hit Britain hit my home pretty badly. Luckily, I wasn't flooded in like many others were, and I'm sure the people being frozen in the US currently have a lot more to complain about.
Thankfully, mum & family are fine now and the big whirlwind of stress is dying down slowly. However, life still rolls onward & I still have Uni exams within the weel & I need to organize flatmates for next year & I need to do X & collect Y and so on and so on. So much to do!! Even though I'm still super busy, I now can re-start my favourite de-stress in Bloodbowl . . . I've let a couple of leagues down through absence & I think I might have to drop out of most as I don't know when some of my irl problems are going to calm down fully, and I have to apologise for not dropping by for 5mins to let the league admins know, but hindsight is 20/20 so I guess I know better for next time.
It sounds silly, but it's comforting to know that when real life gets scary, there is a fun game filled with a really great community to return to once you've escaped the proverbial creek filled with excrement without using a paddle.

no worries sir. RL is tough, and this is just a silly game with monsters and dice; no need to stress about not playing a few games in a league.

FUMBBL really works like an apothecary for real life. And the results are always good. Life will be still here with its problems and hard situations when you finish a game, but you'll surely feel more relaxed. Best luck to ya.

When life gives you lemons, throw them in the bin and go and eat a load of chocolate. That way, you are full of chocolate and as a bonus your bin smells nice
