Mr Average
Over their 130 games, making them the oldest Lizardman team in the Blackbox, the Lustrian Lanterns have seen some wonderful stars.

First, there rose the first superstar of the team, the powerhouse, the cage breaker, Harlequin Lantern.

Then, after a bad Black Cup game the Lanterns needed another star. True to form, the mighty Jade Lantern rose to the challenge, taking Piling On to deal with her lack of armour, and slaying her way through many a challenge the Lanterns faced.

Through all this, multiple incarnations of the Green Lantern and the Teal Lantern held the line against all comers, standing against orcs, dwarves, and all the claw the Box could throw at them.

There was the fabulous scorers, the best lizardman player the Blackbox has seen..Jungle Lantern, and the copy cat (gaining +ag one game after the Jungle Lantern died), Glaucous Lantern.

Every team though, needs the support. They need the multitasker, the one who can do every role. And, of all the saurii, I admit he wasn't the one that I thought would finally make it.

But he did. So, cheers to Mr Average, the Mint Lantern, the first legendary saurus the Lanterns have had. He's been there through thick and thin, through no players, through many players, and only missed 5 out of 130 games the Lanterns have played. He's been the mobile guard, the hitter when all else died, the one that tied up the lines, the emergency ball carrier. He's sheltered the skinks, and killed the claw. He does everything a saurus should be expected to do..averagely. And it's kept him alive, for now.

P.S.
To keep true to form, 1 game after the death of Glaucous Lantern...Hunter Lantern earns 2 skills in one game, and ascends to another +AG skink. It's just not right to play Lizardmen without one...

Go Lizards!

Grats. I enjoy following the exploits of the Lanterns, and am honored to have played against them.

Hm, a blodge saurus is something average...? Well, with 6 skill rolls it's just fair to get one double, true - so I guess he is. Surviving that long in the box is not average, on the other hand. :-)

"Mr Allrounder" or "Mr Reliable" would for sure be better for that guys ego though.

Anyway: Congratulations! :-D

130 games and still no logo?! I'm not sure if having a good story makes up for that. :P
