Great fun at the Albion Coast Cup
This weekend I have been plying Tabletop BB the Albion Coast Cup in Southampton. Great fun playing 6 progression games (which is unusual in NAF tourneys)
Finished in 12 out of 24 with a 2-3-1 record, including a draw against eventual champion Lycos ( who won it last year too!). Happy with only 1 loss in 6 games. All bar one were tight affairs.
Cyrus-havoc finished second and a chap known on NAF circuit as Verbal FM finished 3rd.
Big thanks to organiser BlocknRoll ably assisted by lemf for hosting an excellent tourney and for introducing us to the finest curry I have had outside my native Bradford :-)
It's on every August Bank Holiday weekend so why not come along and try it next year!!!

Good to see you big boy. It was fun, though I had my worst tournament ever!!! More losses at this one than the previous 4 combined!

was nice to see you again mate, had a great first day, but results on second day, lost me the chance for the prizes .....ran into the lycos steam roller as did HAWK heheheh

plenty of people in contention right til the end. Had Cyrus beaten Sillysod he would have won it. lots of ifs buts and maybes but it was dead close all weekend :)

Fantastic w/end - Well done to Block and the guys for running a smooth tourney.
My Underworld lacked the fire power of the predominantly bash teams, so we struggled initially. But can't complain with a 2,3,1 record.

Just a tip trying to foul every turn is bad but i had alot of fun doing it :)
