FUMBBL is FANTASTIC!
Just had an awesome match with Araushnar.
It was everything good about Bloodbowl and FUMBBL.
Sarah Jane, best player all times in HUBBA 2 was killed in the first half, stomped in her ladyparts. The Undead were kicked around by the Woodies, our wiz fizzled but at least we got KO's on both the WDs. Araushnar scored on T8 which made the Undeads riot, giving us a TD and seemingly a good chance in the second half as his two WDs both failed to recover.
But it was not to be and eventually we were beaten up by random Wood Elfs and turned over to lose, lol.
After the game we had a great little chat reminiscing about Man O War, Epic, etc, talking about general real life stuff, and I think that's the beauty of FUMBBL - most of us are geeky types of a certain age with roughly parallel hobby experiences which really connect us.
Having said all that, real life is catching up to me and I have less and less free time, so after my next match to finish the league I won't be playing for some time.
I may hang around the forums a bit because after all it is the community that makes FUMBBL so fantastic.
Massive thanks to Christer, and all the great people I have met on here.

Me and a mate found his old copy of Man-o-War a few years back, but were gutted to find we only had half of the 17-odd rulebooks required to play :(

Necromunda was a great game. Man-o-War was kind of fun as an idea but not great really.

Necromunda was the best game GW ever produced, besides Blood Bowl. It's a shame that all their best game are seen as 'unsustainable' by their marketing team. Less minis to sell, less importance. Mordheim and GorkaMorka were both also good games, but Necromunda was special.

Also played Necromunda back in the 90s... Was kind of BB in a sense with being an squad and skilling... I think that was appealing to me as is BB today.
For me, BB is the best game I can think of, specially when playing a RL oppo. And thus, Fumbbl is best comunity available. That will keep me around no matter what. Even if RL takes you away for some time, my real real hobby, the one thing I am thinking about when my child and wife go to bed is... playing a game in Fumbbl... (well, except if my wife is not feeling sleepy when she goes to bed...) ;P
For me, BB is the best game I can think of, specially when playing a RL oppo. And thus, Fumbbl is best comunity available. That will keep me around no matter what. Even if RL takes you away for some time, my real real hobby, the one thing I am thinking about when my child and wife go to bed is... playing a game in Fumbbl... (well, except if my wife is not feeling sleepy when she goes to bed...) ;P

Necromunda.....now there was a game :) Almost as good as BB and certainly GW's finest era......Seen the price of GW's product now? WOW.

shame to lose you from the league. keep your team in case you want to return one day :) and think long and hard before bowing out, your undead have been awesome and it would be a shame to see them go.

I thought the game was over when the 2nd half started and 10 woodies without both Wardancers played vs undead with 2 Pombers. But then the no names made a big show. Jimmy failed to injure or ko the woodies and we managed to ko both pombers. In the end we had numerical advantage and took the game home.
BTW Sarah Jane was fouled to death by my 1SPP Lineelf Empress Tree.
