Shaking hands - Can't pick up the ball in Tourney Matches
I Always get excited for tourney matches and it looks like my players feel my emotion, their hands shake and they can't pick up the ball, this also affects the ability to sprint, due to shaking legs, or to block, because their knees are dull.

The top was reached in my first RRR match. It had everything: skulls, failed gfis and a HUGE amount of failed pickups. Just watch the replay and enjoy!

But i remembered that wasn't the first time: during this first round BC game, my natural FA ball carrier Jack "Non-violento" Sgozzapreti failed a fair amount of pickups, leading to an early 2-0 for the Darkies. Then to repair to this more mistakes came, skulls and failed gfis etc...

Should i dope my players? Hypnosis Therapy? Lexotan? Or just assume they won't be able to pick the thing up?

My runners failed four or five 3+ pick ups with Sure Hands during my late Scheduled SMACK match, even my legend. It just happens when the players get nervous. My advice: Play undead teams. But don't use ghouls or werewolves to pick up the ball - they get nervous, too.

Have a whisky before the match! ;-)

Your Runner did play a crappy 2nd half there. Wouldn't want to be him in the dug-out post match...

Convince them that it's just a pick-up match and not a tournament. Tell them there is no pressure and the game doesn't mean anything anyway.

And if that doesn't work, give them rum before the match and more at half-time.

@ Rabe

Now I understand!! My Runner is named Agility Monster, so it's clearly the Agility Monsters curse! Guess I should've known better than to name him after such a team, full of former dorf porn stars!!

Eh! There is no such thing as a Agility Monsters curse!!

...one runner is not enough anyway. Who do you want to develop into the essential dwarven thrower?!
