Morning saw Broekwater Patriots practicing in heavy shower. The practice was hard as ever, but team felt good, and efficient. Then team went to the video room to finalize the game plan. Optimism was at all time high. Good plan, good execution would mean that team achieves a 3 point lead in the division, which would be a huge advantage in the playoff race.
After the game planning meeting Mike Adams enters coach office.
Adams: Coach, i think we will toast those folks in Akendorf. Would you mind if i boast about it officially?
Coach: (Rolling eyes, saying nothing)
Adams: You agree, that practice was hard, and all went good, dont you?
Coach: Umm, yes... (still looking strange at the teams 3 game old 3rd round pick.)
Adams: We are at full strength for the 1st time since i am here!
Coach: Yes, that is true, but you should not count on the others.
Adams: Hightower... (coach interrupts)
Coach: Shut up now! If you boast, then you have to deliver! You are free to boast, but you will look lame and stupid if your game does not match your mouth! Yes, we are at full strength, yes we have a developing QB, but it is a key divisional game. Are you up for it?
