Broekwater Patriots Spy Report
Broekwater Patriots is a perennial playoff member of DLE with 3 3rd places in 3 seasons. Sure, a force to be reckoned with, but the championship title proved to be elusive so far. The team is leading the KFC conference right now with 7 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss after 9 rounds.
The front office is working hard to push the team over the hump, but the team is not without weakness. League sources suggest that Patriots are lacking Agile Catchers as one example. Our reporters break down the roster based on their precious intel. This team is particularly hard to get intel about, as the coaching staff, the front office, and the players are all extremely low key commenters, but luckily we have our 'sources', and deducted the missing pieces of the puzzle.

Ladies and Gentleman, dont look further, this is the 1st ever spy report of this secretive organization! (Posted at halfway through the 4th season, it took so long to piece the puzzles together.) We put a mark from 1-to-5 for each player. 5 means he is considered as a cornerstone for the Patriots playbook, 1 means largely inconsequential. We also posess practice videos, so hint at what the players are developing into.

Ogre - Solid, but nothing spectacular
Mike Adams: Drafted at the end of 3rd round of draft2, and considered a huge steal by the GM office. He is used to anchore the LOS, and usually put at the center of it. He seems to have fewer mental lapses than most (maybe due to the coaching staffs conservative use of him), he is a reliable blocker and he is rarely out of position and capable to hold the ground due to his StandFirm skill.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 3

Blitzers - Hard hitting Top3 unit in the league
Chad Clifton: Acquired by a trade from the Monte Castello Wreckers during season3. He was considered as a generational talent by the scouting team (having str4), and he has developed nicely. Rumors suggest that he fielded offers recently teams, but nothing came to fruition.
Practice report: Tackle
Overall grade: 5

Douglas Winston: Acquired by a trade from the Kislev White Wolves during season3. The trade was motivated by the lack of killer instinct among the blitzer group at that time. He was almost traded a few weeks ago, but the coaching staff stopped the transaction as they view him key for any playoff run. His JumpUp ability is very handy effectively providing a 2nd blitz action every now and then.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 4

Aaron Brown: Drafted at the end of 2nd round of draft3. He was also at the center of trade rumors. Looks like Patriots blitzers are team, and league strength, and are highly seeked after. Film review suggest that he is used as a decoy and as annoyance for the opposing team, as his stand firm skill offers something that only a few others can muster. He comboes well with the other blitzers, effectively supporting operation.
Practice report: Tackle
Overall grade: 3

Khalil Mack: Acquired by a trade from the Middenheim Classics at the end of 2nd season. He was considered as an incomplete, but extremely talented player by the scouting team (having str4/mb/frenzy). It took almost 2 seasons to teach him how to Tackle and PileOn properly, but he got there. Coaching staff was frustrated in the process...
...Rumors suggest that he is not only ready to reignite the torch of the by injured, then traded, then dead Hightower (mb/po/frenzy/tackle/guard), but he is also willing and capable of carrying the team without the help of any other killer. Team brass is considering that option, and may look out for some Agility in the future, but for now prefer running with both him and Winston.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 5

Throwers - Probably the best group in the league
Blake 'The Boss' Bortles: Acquired by a trade from the Nuln Gunners at the end of season2 in exchange for the no1 overall pick, and the right to draft Andrew Luck. Sure, the Gunners went with Russel Wilson, but that is also okay. The trade shored up the biggest weakness in the Patriots playbook which was sometimes exposing the ball while the blitzers are agressively hunting opposing players. Coaching staff is extremely happy with Bortles low profile attitude, and with his performance on the field. They prefer such a player as Franchize Cornerstone as compared to freelancing Hightower, whose actions often left the team out of position. We do not believe a BOSS exists without ALLURES, but this is what sources keep telling us.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 5

Mike Glennon: Drafted at the middle of 1st round of last draft (draft4) after a trade with the Praag Grizzlies. He was a VERY developmental project, but after the death of the agile and nimble Flynn, drafting a thrower was the obvious way to boost the team. Glennon since embraced his role as a support player, and improved his armor. He aspires to be a glorified lineman who supports the blitzers and the BOSS, unless Nuffle touches him with some added AGILITY. He is developing nicely, scouts and coaches are optimistic he will skill twice until the end of regular season.
Practice report: Block
Overall grade: 3

Catcher - Clear weakness, lacks both quality and quantity
Janoris Jenkins: Drafted in the 2nd round of draft3 more than a season ago. It was all Patriots (skillset) written over him. No wonder he ended up here. He is a perfectly affordable shutdown player who makes opposing ball carriers to move around. He is nothing flashy, no STR or AG, but he has added ARMOR, so he reliably does his job. He is often fielded on defense when the team needs to stop the other teams offense.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 4

Linemen - There is a clear emphasis on lineman on this team
Christo Bilukidi: Acquired by a trade from the Remas Eagles during season3. He is used as backup LOS fodder, and 1turn defense. He is not on the field much in the regular season, but some defensive schemes we were able to film show plans for him in the playoffs.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 2

Timmy Jernigan: He is probably the ONLY player from day1. He was drafted in draft1 2nd round, and a perfect Patriot evers since, taking hits for the team. He is used for LOS duty, and marking opposing Ogres to neuter them while the others take down the rest.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 3

Sid Luckman: Acquired by a trade from the Middenheim Classics after the end of season3. He spends significant time on the pitch supporting the blitzers on their duty. He was a raw prospect after the acquisition, but MVP awards followed him, then he refined his BLOCKing art to improve his contribution to the team.
Practice report: Unclear development picture
Overall grade: 3

John Simon: He was acquired during the last draft. Originally drafted by another team, but Patriots overpaid a little to close the deal. He is used for LOS duty, teaming up with Adams and Jernigan. He sometimes marks opposing Ogres, too.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 3

Philip Blake: He was drafted in draft3 in the 2nd round, and was considered a steal by GM office that time. The team was extremely light of Guard skill back in the Hightower era, and he was a priority addition. Well, one would say the GM office erred to the other direction, spamming guard among linos and blitzers alike.
Practice report: No development imminent
Overall grade: 3

Brandon Washington: Acquired by a trade after the end of season3. For running without FOUL play for 3 seasons, the coaching staff decided to mask the deficiency at AGILITY by sticking the boot, hence they asked the GM office for a player who can fulfill a main role (like guarding), and also fouling. He spends significant time on the pitch supporting the blitzers on their duty, and he strikes some fear in opposing killers. Contrary to his many counterparts on other teams he is not trigger happy. Brandon goes for the big fish, and aims for opposing killers.
Practice report: Unclear development picture
Overall grade: 3

Gene Upshaw: Just acquired by a trade from the Los Cabos Marauders. His role is yet unclear, but he is a very developmental prospect with upside. Looks like the coaching staff is constantly challenged by the GM office. Coaches have just completed the development of Mack, close to seal the development of Glennon, and now they are tasked to break in Upshaw before the playoffs.
Practice report: No practice report yet, but we are convinced he will learn BLOCKing drills
Overall grade: 4

As of now, that is 15 players. Patriots will either run with a rookie as 16th body, or will make a move. The likely candidate is an AG4 catcher, as team made no secret about their desire to cover up for that weakness. If they are unable to do so, then we bet the rookie lineam will pick up a DirtyPlayer skill for this season, and may cover up for that weakness in a future draft.

And that concludes our investigative report today about Broekwater PAtriots. We believe that over 90% of the report is accurate, and went into great length to prove the theories presented, but it was not possible all the time. Use wisely, and consider yourself warned!

The authors say goodby, and hide away until the smoke clears. Do not try to contact them.

Only 1 rated 2, and 0 reated 1. So everything that is killed off your team will hurt. gotcha! Can't wait until next time we meet. :)

Of course it will hurt if anything is killed!

Related note: Team leaders are fuming, and issued an extensive internal investigation to locate the leak. One mentioned something like 'catching a rat'.

Death doesn't hurt.
