Today, I finally managed to play my first SMACK-tourney, and guess what - I actually won that thing :-)
...I'm still excited, especially since I seem to be the first to have accomplished that in a Rookie-SMACK with Ogres :-)

...Now, after I've seen that this page is not updated automatically and current content is as of Dec. 2007, I slowed my enthusiasm down a bit and I'm hoping that this page might get updated at some time in the not so far future and of course, that noone else has played and won with Ogres in a Rookie-SMACK ;-)
...To anyone, not having played a SMACK yet: It's really a kool and spontaneous format of having a mini-tourney - I played all 3 matches in one night
...I started the team with a fanfactor of 1 and 6 Ogres, so really only with very shortsighted focus of max. those 3 matches and have now earned a fanfactor of 5, already
...so that's 3 x +1 for every match I've won and also another +1, you apparently earn for winning the SMACK :-)
...I don't know if I also get extra-winnings or if those were just regular (good) winnings ...'was to nervous and eager to play to check the actual dice-rolls after the matches ;-)
...In the last match I faced another Ogre-team which had already hired Nobbla Blackwart - 'first impulse was to spend my gold for Nobbla as well (so he doesn't show up at all - I had just re-read all about chainsaws and that didn't sound like something I was going to let my Ogres getting hurt by - not even speaking of my poor little av=7 gobbos), but then I decided for Morg'N Thorg - which was the best decision ever, since Nobbla didn't even manage to start his darn chainsaw once, before one of my big guys managed to kick him right into the K.O. box to never return for the match since he got spotted next time he was trying to sneak in his ever-so-evil apparatus ;-)
...win in the final was an easy one, being an Ogre up from the start, having the better star and actually rolling good dice for once :-)
...so let's soon meet in yet another SMACK :-)
edit: The list has just been updated - I actually get some fame :-) :-) :-)
And - since someone asked me that: No, it was not 8 Ogres in the SMACK, but only 2 - played Necros 1st, High Elf 2nd and Ogres last.
