Bring Back Speed Freaks Challenge Plz...
Would love to see a new and improved Speed Freaks Challenge return to the Fumbbl scene.
For all the newer coaches, here is the link to the SFC page.
I would love to see a version where:
-8 Team Swiss format
-Every round, bottom two teams are eliminated
-4 Rounds (so 8 teams... then 6 teams... then 4 teams... then 2 teams)
-Rounds do not have to be played back to back to back
-One minute turn limit remains the standard
Would be awesome if winning gave out a pretty medal like Faction used to :)

Unless you're web surfing in another window (not watching your opponent's turn) or new to the game (and learning as you go), 4 minutes is a lifetime. Think during your opponent's turn, execute during yours.
The 4 minutes in the rules were geared to a table-top game where you have to roll dice, look up skills on paper, and do every calculation yourself. It also includes the time to untangle your prone minotaur's horns from between the legs of a wood elf lineman.

It's a swiss format. So if you dropped the bottom 2 teams after each round, it's 8, 6, 4, and 2. :D

But why re invent the wheel?
Just keep the old rules. Off "we" go and in time if changes need/should then make the changes then.
Get it back on its feet before you knock it around with format changes.

Nice tweak with the Elimination. But instead go 8 teams, 8 teams, 6 teams, 4 teams. Since you never know how tight it is. But maybe there should be an ending earlier if the winner is decided after 3 games?
