Any sort of alert system would be nice. I get a message on IRC when I get sent a _new_ PM, but not when someone responds to an existing one.

That would be a lot of emails for me, id like the alert button more for when coaches go awol in that case.

I'd like this, so long as it were sufficiently tweakable. I think I'd only want a mail for PMs that are sent to up to 3 coaches, so that all random league/metagroup banter is exempted.

Yeah only if I could switch it off. Personally I would hate my email to get spammed with fumbbl pms.

A simple 'Notify by e-mail' option would be enough for me if you get a new message at the site.

Why not just a "send emai" option? Just like "send pm", but sends to email instead.

Great idea. I read my email daily and it would be great if I could at the same time see if someone has sent pms in fumbbl. Would'nt have to waste time to go to fumbbl to see the messages.

I just chuckled reading the responses to this and the "kicker" is I like the idea IF I can select an option to turn it off.

So Christer implimented the new client onto FUMBBL and has done all these other cool new features to upgrade FUMBBL.

So do you believe it is beyond Christers ability that if he implimented this idea to link PM's to Emails stored that he could not figure out a way to make a box that said, click here if you do not want PM's sent to your FUMBBL email? Just to tall of a hurdle for him to overcome?
