Nuffle is a chaotic god..
.. but not a Chaos God.
Man, if feels good to kick hell out of a Chaos team with humans. The KRUELTY move into their nineth straight win after accepting a challenge from a chaos squad with a 140 TV advantage. For the second straight game Kingston "called in the Wulf."
Last game Helmut sent one of two ST6 tomb guardians to the cas box, and this game he did a number on the claw sporting Minotaur. Several times in the game the chaos coach elected to save the Apo instead of canceling out a badly hurt result. I feel this Mino staying BH was key. When the apo was finally used on turn 13 for a -ST beast, the doc offered to do a head transplant to fix the smashed collar bone. Err.. no thanks. Wasted Apo.
I think as a result of the recent thread on the subject, I have decided to run without an Apo from now on with humies. An Apo ultimatly hurts the team's chances of winning via an automatic, and often wasted, TV bump. If you could fire the Apo I might take one before a tourney, but until then.. No. Thanks to the recent thread for making me think more about this.
There are few things I hate more than a Chaos team. CLAWPOMB dwarf and Nurgle teams in box are my mortal enemies, but a 1590 TV fledgling chaos mightly blow squad in Ranked is a nice thing to pound on. Thanks for the early cas Nuffle. I cannot fault the Chaos coach. With so many cas early, it was just one of those games for him.
Recent forum threads have me back on the HUMANS hardcore, and I have dusted off the Kingston Kruelty in box after 10 months to try and get some wins sub 1400 TV.
A 15-2 record in ranked is nothing big, but smashing things with humans and watching the bank go up feels good. FEELS GOOD!! Rock on human players.

I always figured he was Lawful Evil... all the math is consistent and follows the laws he has set forth... it's just that those laws are EVIL and used to ruin your team.

Well. I had it commin' for next game after such a positive "WINNERS'S HIGH." The report..

After 8 straight straight wins, THAT was the diceing I had coming my way. Three CAS and my star catcher failed three 1/9 actions to give victory to the vamps.
My new Guard lino gets a niggle on his first game as a big boy, (I'll keep him) and the team's leader, Captain Vancouver, takes his guard skill into retirement, along with a new collection of concussions. (-AV)
The up side is that with a +2 FAME advantage I rolled 80'000 gold post game, so the treasury only takes a ten grand hit for replacing the blitzer. I also hit doubles to get Guard on my wrestle blitzer, meaning the Kruelty won't need to face a game with less then the standard of two assist players. Fun game "Count" Solidsod.~~
