Ouch. The Human League Conference is lost. I had grand designs on winning two straight near the end of the month to improve my sprint to the best in the Conference. On paper, this match-up was perfect. I had more block, tackle, and Guard to brawl it out and cancel the skaven speed. He lacked the tackle to deal with the 3 star blodgers on my team. It was pure bliss following the draw. But it was not to be...

I immediatly watch the replay to see where I could have altered the course of the Kruelty's history. Where I might not have lost the Gold trophy. It quickly becomes apparent at the begining of my 3rd turn. Blinded by mild rage at not getting a single KO after 8 blocks in the first 2 turns, I fail to see the easy oppertunity to advance the cage down the southern half of the pitch. I had several free players and I could have moved closer to scoring range to resume brawling from a safer tactical position. I went for dumb bashing mid-field instead, and the bashing never panned out. THAT was my missed oppertunity. The loss is my fault and deserved.

Everything else would just be whining about bad dice, turn 7, 9 & 10. Was that whine? Sorry. The skaven played well and fast and deserved the win. Good game rats.!
