It's a good time to wake up.
He's just another politician.

Yes, Obama is an angel, a good-hearted human who doesn't uphold a concept of the enemy. Obama is undeniable the king of Humanism.

Love to see if you stand by your words in 4 years time :P

Call Obama what you will...
In my opinion he is a point of light, after around 8 years in total darkness for the Americans. If he is as good as we seem to think he is, only time will tell... But I think he will do a nice job for America. So go go Obama and do your best.
My 2 cents...

I wonder how long it will be before we see drug-dealing on the Whitehouse lawn and a new Rap national anthem?

Just another politician but w/o any program. :)

A good man indeed. Some light for future troubled times.
However, McCain himself is a "good man". I've been all for Obama this past year, yet have recently come to question just what he stands for. Only time will tell. Creating belief and spirit is one thing, but sustaning that whilst getting the hands dirty and doing the grim job over the next 4 years is another thing.

Nancy Pelosi now has unchecked power...it is going to be a long four years for any American that cherishes their freedom.

in fairness we cant take anything away from mccain, he had the misfortune to come up in a pre bush republican party, however
Obama is the best thing to happen to america, and thats a fact we all need to realise, he stands the best chance of any of us to solve any hardships this world and each country is suffering at the moment
while it is true that he now has unchecked power, due to holding a majority in congress and the senate, freedom is "kind of taken away", but think of it this way...you wanted change, you voted him in, so you must want him to make swift changes?
Overall, for the world, this is a good day

"I lived to see a good man be elected."
You lived to see a blank slate be elected. As his democrat rival once said "Here's a man who's ENTIRE resume of political accomplishments can be summed up with 'He made a speech in 04'"
we elected a blank slate and that's how I'll view him. The fact he's a trial lawyer and a democrat, two things that attack American freedoms more than anything else, will not be held against him by me.
So far he hasn't even been sworn in and has already done America a great service....he stopped the Clintons from getting into the White House. And for that, he deserves a big gold star in the plus column!
Hopefully that won't be the only good he does.

They didn't put much faith in Lincoln either when he was elected the 16th president. He and Obama have about the same resume. Obama will do just fine.
