A month filled with tournaments!
July was a big fiasco when it comes to my tournament effort. Most of my teams got booted in the first round of the Orca-Cola tournaments and my chaos dwarf team, with great help from Nuffle, managed to lose against amazons and halflings in the Hollywood Bloodbowl League.

August offers a heavy schedule and hopefully I will get my act together and get a bit more fair dices this month.

The final of the Stunty Rookie Rumble XII awaits and after a 19 day absence Branmort and his Strigoyans are ready to face my Skarville Skoundrelz. Both teams had a succesful road to the final and has avoided heavy casualties, so the final will be a big blowout with full squads and star players. Perhaps the Skoundrelz have a minor advantage in that they have more skilled-up players, but it will likely be an evenly matched contest and as always the success of my cheaters will rely heavily on how tolerant the ref is.

In the Albion Regional Challenge the Gothenburg Gitz got a free pass in the first round and will face either an unbashy but unusually technical chaos team or a well balanced chaos dwarf squad. Hopefully their first round will be a bloody one, leaving the primed Gitz ready to give the remaining scraps the boot in round 2.

The Antipodal Regional Shield offers a nightmare draw for the Gothenburg Groggers. The lightly armored norsemen will face off against dwarves in round 1 and if they manage a win a second dwarf team is allready waiting in round 2. The Groggers will likely use their two dp's heavily since the Moria Warthogs have none and my hatred for dwarves is notorious. Nuffle very rarely helps me so I don't really count on making it far, but hopefully I can at least take some of those bastards with me in the fall.

The Middenheim Challenge offers an easier task when my well balanced Gothenburg Geckos faces the banged up Bondens Traktorer halflings. The cut back on rerolls and their two remaining dp's will give them a chance if the dices fail me, but with block on 5 of my 6 sauruses and a dp of my own I should be able to pull off a round 1 victory.

In the Orcland Wooden Shield the Wrath of Amu Nesehu are facing the Scottish Claymores. My 4 mummies are salivating in anticipation of going after the unprotected norsemen, but besides the bashing this might turn out to be a really difficult match to win as the rest of my khemri team are unskilled and both my blitz-ra's have been killed. Since the next round will offer even more lightly armored opponents hopefully the bloodlust of my mummies will motivate the team to a win.

In the Penal League my B-Block Bashers are up against the Dirty Sixteen (or less). It will be plenty of violence and dirty tricks when the two teams of convicts face off against each other. The Bashers are slightly more sofisticated, but the Dirty Sixteen have one more player and a more bashier squad. Hopes are high to get through to round 2 where the Oswald Prison Team are waiting.

In the Hollywood Bloodbowl League my crippled 9 man chaos dwarves are waiting to get pounded by a khemri team in the third round. Just like in the movie they are representing A Blitz Too Far are outnumbered and outgunned and are just waiting for the German panzers in the form of 4 mummies to roll in and decimate them even further. The only thing that will prevent me from adding an August loss to my rep sheet is if the match is delayed into September...
