One day left ...
The FCC are going to be voting tomorrow on Chairman Pai's plan to scrap the Title II Classifications that protect net neutrality and internet freedom. If net neutrality is struck down, then the free and open internet that we all enjoy could be gone for good. However, Americans can use their voice to help put a stop to it.

If you live in America and you have not yet called on your Congressional senators and representatives, please do so today. This is especially important if your representatives are Republican. Several studies have shown that at least 75% of Republican voters do not want net neutrality to be repealed, and yet Congressional Republicans have so far been largely silent. Pick up the phone; tell them that net neutrality is important to you and ask them to speak out.

If you don't know how to contact your Congressional representatives, then this is a great opportunity to find out and it is very easy. This site has information and links that you can use to contact them. You can call and leave a message, or send an e-mail. I e-mailed two of my Senators yesterday and received a response from one fairly quickly.

If Americans stand up together and speak out against this outrage, it can be stopped! Join us and please do everything you can!

Thank you.

(P.S. I don't like making political posts like this on FUMBBL, but this is such a vitally important issue, which affects us all, that I simply can't stay silent ... sorry)

Lots of full voicemail boxes... but found working numbers for both and left messages.

Thanks pizzamogul! Yeah, it's mostly mailboxes, but if we can fill them up then they might take notice :)

A very sad day for the internet (not to mention democracy ..) :(
