I also have been dreaming of custom rosters. There are problems inherent in the system but with proper thought and reasonable league controls, it is something that should work. You could also include trading players.

sounds fun, might be willing to help out with the logistics if you wish

Sounds like its beyond the scope of what FUMBBL is currently capable of. I'd love something like this is a TT format, complete with salary (TV) cap, free agency, waiver wire, trades, etc. I just don't see how you'd be able to do it here. Someone with access to the code for the site would have to put in a fairly extensive set of custom changes to be able to manage the rosters to that level of detail.
If future changes to the L division make this sort of league possible, I might be interested. I'd have to ditch all other leagues though probably, because this one would be a lot of work.

Providing you can do full custom rosters then you can doo all the other stuff outside of fumbbl and just adjust the rosters (e.g. you could have different winnings systems, salries etc) It would just require work from the admin of the league

i don't think the custom rosters were going to support your super crazy team idea here, where anyone can put any positional from any race with any amount of experience/skills on it. i think the custom rosters were only going to support individual races with any positonal from that race with any amount of experience and skills. or, what most everyone else said. :D

I already contacted the site through support ticket. The reply said that custom rosters will be available supporting my idea.
Uploading rosters through CSV format is all i need. Every transaction, free agency, salary cap, trades, etc can be done outside this site. Lets say arrange a skype conference, or IRC group. I can distribute the draft list through e-mail. The same can work for free agency.
I apreciate any help, so i am very thankful for spinball for the offer. The first thing to do is to work out a calendar, free agency and trade rules. (How long should draft take, how long should a round take, should there be scheduled games, or not, how long should free agency, etc.)
My 2cent about the draft:
I think the first round should be on one day, like in the NFL. Then take a day off, so that everybody can think what is going on, and continue with round 2-6. 3rd day should be round 7-16.
I think every coach should start the league year with 16 players. And i think that the one season should be only so long that no one goes below 11 players. Alternative option is to do a supplemental draft during the middle of the season from the leftover players from previoud draft. And anyone can fill up the missing places on the roster. (I would like to avoid uploading 32 coach's roster after every game.) What do you think?
So lets start to work out a calendar for a season, so the league can kick off as soon as the custom roster option is available.

it sounds like you want to play your fantasy football team on a blood bowl pitch.
i dont see why you would need a template as much as you could just look at existing nfl / ncaa draft players and assign them statistics and skills
dont forget thinking about how to assign TV, maybe for your league start players based on human roster players
i do know of a couple leagues who are hoping to incorporate a draft if and when it becomes available, gl and hf

Does sound like something I'd do. So interested, but won't commit until I know my new schedule better.

About TV:
I plan to support to have full roster. So i plan to give very little value to individual player. (could be 10k)
To control the like 51 SPP as every player as it enters the draft. The players will be strong at the beginning, so they should not develop quickly. But once they improve, their price should increase, too. (as normal)

I'd sooner have the new players scaled like they are in the NFL, with the top 10 or so being legitimate starters and the next lot being either good stats or good skills and the last lot being maybe 1 good stat or 1 good skill.
that'd really make people think about it all
