Join a unique league
Do you like playing bloodbowl with a twist? I would like to recommend you a very unique way of playing bloodbowl.
Highlights:
- Customize your team as never before.
- Play a full 16 human roster. Dont worry about gold.
- No inducement. No noise, lets see whose customized team wins out.
- Non typical skill combinations, which result in interesting and unusual in game tactics.
- Balancing the odds! Losing teams get serious boost though draft system.
- Draft system as main source of talent
- Deep roots in the Old World
First season is running, with very positive experience
- Players are active and committed. No dropout, or silence. Kudos to all!
- Games are scheduled in advance, and are watched by each other. These games are actually VERY entertaining to watch.

WE ARE RECRUITING for SEASON 2!
Coaches outside of Europe are also welcome, if they are flexible with scheduling of games, and are sometimes available during EU time zone. We already have a coach from US. So if you like to join an NFL style league, then dont hesitate. We will run 32 teams in season2, with 2 conferences, and 8 divisions.

For people like me, who hear the words 'draft system' and think:
If it is something odd I don't understand it's probably targeting a different crowd, lemme say, it is OK for you to join even when you don't know what it is.
It goes basically like this:
You have your normal team like always, but every season coaches can choose from a bunch of players in a fixed order. You get to pick 4 players from a list, every coach draws in succession. Once every coach has drawn, the first coach starts again to draw from the same list, only that the best players are gone now.
The one who performed worst starts, the one who performed best in the previous season is last. This way the worst performing team always gets the biggest advantage: The best player.
This is how balance is retained within the league.
Now you probably wonder: How am I gonna play with only 4 players? The answer is, if you don't buy a player, you can fill up your roster with any number of rookies. You have basically unlimited gold, RR amount is fixed at 3. Inducements are not used.
So that's draft league for you in a nutshell.

The human base is the easiest to turn into different stat lines. Let me show a few examples:

I'm not in the League before season2, but I followed the draft anyway with 18 players. One drafted a lot of+ST and plays like orcs. One drafted a lot of +AG, and plays like an Elf. There are so much variation posible through the draft. I have even spectated a few games, and peoples different style of play really comes out in the open with all humanteams. I love it, and not even in it yet!

The fluff of NFL combined with teams situated in the Old World is awesome, to have fun with.
I'm not in the League before season2, but I followed the draft anyway with 18 players. One drafted a lot of+ST and plays like orcs. One drafted a lot of +AG, and plays like an Elf. There are so much variation posible through the draft. I have even spectated a few games, and peoples different style of play really comes out in the open with all humanteams. I love it, and not even in it yet!

Rated 6 of course because it's league. On top of that I can fully confirm what bghandras and others have written. It's unique, it's fun, and so far the commitment of both admins and coaches is way above average. Recommendable without a doubt.
