Dumping Treasury - Mistake?
Many people claim about the trasury issue, that opponents dump money, etc. I had 3 scheduled games, and the first time i thought i get inducement, whereas it was a petty cash spend. In all 3 games my opponents believed the same. (Including a rebuilding team who spent all his cash reserve.)
So i think people just assume it is inducement money they get, and go for it. I suggest to educate opponents that client changed, and what are the implications. I think not all spend is malicious.

Well, my opponent was fully aware about the rule change and assumed the money would be taken away sometime in the not too distant future. Made sense for him to spend a chunk now (about 800k for his dorfs) and surely helped to win the game. But it ruined the Lustrian tourney for me. Consequence: I will stay away from ranked, box and FUMBBL tourneys for a while.

The way it works now is inline with the BB2016 rules.

The client log explicitly states where the money comes from.
Seriously, you didn't wonder why you are getting so many inducements all of a sudden? Nor your 3 opponents? Instead your first and only thought was: oh lots of money, nice! Quick, spend it!

Well, it's not always that clear. The client offered me 50k yesterday, but since I was aware of the change and vaguely remembered out TV difference was slim, I checked twice to make sure I don't accidentally spend money I wanted to save (turns out 30k were my treasury, 20k inducement bonus).
Especially in such a case I can easily imagine how coaches just take the Babe or a card without much consideration.
And yes, it's in the log - but I rarely look at it. I agree that it's a major pitfall for many coaches.
