One of the coaches on my list that seems to always be in a game, have reached over 1000 games played in little over a year on this site; I on the other hand has about half that with this account since 2005.
I do get the BB mania my self, but after a month or two I often take a break, those breaks can last one and a half year or so at times. I regularly play other board games, and have done so for well over 20 years.
I have found that while fumbbl.com is convenient as you can get a game vs a human opponent most anytime, there is much to be said for playing face to face.
Among the intangible benefits is one that has been posted a lot about recently, you tend to avoid people that do not play to win, if you actually meet whomever you play with.

Wow, hadn't quite ever noticed the elfish tendencies.
I've got 100 games in with a fair number of races all over the basher/baller spectrum. I just don't "get" the overspecialization.
