Due to a combination of being away for the festive period, a short dose of man flu and work being crazy busy I have not been very productive on the painting front these last few weeks. But I am slowly getting back into things now and made some progress.




Both bulls are done now, I went for the same colour scheme on their dwarf bodies as the other dwarfs on the team. For their bull half I went for a deep red, the other option was black but I wanted the hair round their hooves and chest to be that colour, also I thought it would make them look a little dull.



With them having larger bases I added a bit of discarded armour to one and a skull to the other. Since I was doing their bases I finished all of them for the blockers and hobgoblins too and varnished them all.



The last outstanding player is the Minotaur, i've got all the bits I need now so have built his torso, legs and assembled the driver. I'm still deciding whether to put a roof on the cab, how many horns and rams to put on the front and what to do for the arms.

As for the Lizardmen I've been doing more base coats for the saurus, silli and the krox but nothing very pic worthy. Ideally i'll get the Chaos Dwarfs done and then focus mainly on them.



Whilst looking through my bitz box for suitable arms for the minotaur I came across the Morathi model I'd bought to use as a Wood Elf mage on a unicorn. With a simple arm and lower torso swap she makes a great Roxanna Darknail. I'll probably paint her up at some stage in the future, I'm thinking of giving her grey skin and white hair like I did the thrower for the Dark Elf team I first did all the way back in 2007.

Finally I've managed to acquire most of the bits I need for my Vampire team. The vampires will be made from the 3 coven throne vamps, the GW and AoW female vampire and a 40K female inquisitor. I now have a full set of sisters repentia to use as thralls as well. All these models will need a fair bit of work to make them suitable for the Bloodbowl pitch.

Star wise I have decided not to bother with Morg, I've got what I need for the count and helmut.
For Crazy igor I have 2 ideas, either some poor battered and chained sod using the Dark Eldar Medusae torso or the witch hunter bound psyker. The other idea is a pretty boy, maybe a conversion using Sigvald and Griff.
