What is the Open League Environment?
Open League teams use Ruleset 6 and are assigned no league or group number. They're created using the team creator at the bottom of your coach's page and selecting [L]eague, and then sort on your coaches page under 'League' before any teams assigned a specific league.

I have a Ruleset 6 team which is assigned a specific league. Can that team play on the Isle of Misfit Teams?
No. But Under DAWGZ might be an ideal spot for your team, as teams are being imported into that league to play.

Can my legacy Secret League 2016 team play in the Isle of Misfit Teams?
No and Yes. Secret League 2016 (SL16) teams can't play in Season Nine on the Isle of Misfit teams, but if the Secret Isle of Misfit Teams manages to reach critical mass again, it will see a sixth season.

Will the Isle of Misfit Teams upgrade to the 2020 rules?
Perhaps someday, but today is not that day. The Isle is a place for older teams to play... mostly teams which started out somewhere else and don't play there for whatever reason. As long as there are enough coaches with older teams who want to play this way, and the environment can remain open, the stadia will welcome those teams.
When there is a population of homeless 2020 teams, I feel confident that the populous of El-Aljana will welcome those teams to the Isle with open arms. Whether the existing IoMT converts to 2020 or bifurcates again will depend on whether the 2016 environment is still healthy at that time.

What'll the prize, theme, and inducements be for season nine?
I don't know... could be Elf themed or Nurgle themed. Depends who wins that big playoff game above. The winner of that game will get to determine if the Wizard College gets a contract next season, whether stunty grease will be available, whether hand sanitizer stations will be available in the stadia, what the prize for season nine shall be among other things.

When should I sign-up?
Anytime between now and 9 January. Signing up now lets the commissioner know you're interested and you're more likely to receive PMs about the upcoming season. I'm sure the commish will make some more noise about it between now and January to try to reach more people though.

Do people actually ask you these questions, or do you make them up?
