Slann vs. High Elf
So, was thinking about trying a race I haven't played before. As it goes, I played the board game and have tried a lot of diff teams. Most of which I tried (and bombed) on here. But not these two. So open discussion. Which one do you recommend?

technically, there is not a single player on the team that is all 3 - AG4, AV8 and MA8. The only MA8 ones are AV7. Good luck with them, though. I found High Elves the most frustrating of all the elf teams.

I like Slann better, if only because they do something that other teams don't do. Every other elf team is both similar to and strictly better than high elves, so high elves aren't a lot of fun for me. Slann, if nothing else, are fun.

That much having been said, high elves are more competitive than Slann -- especially at higher TRs. (They're kind of low-skill when they start out.) They're elves... everyone knows what they do, but they're pretty good at it.

I mean, try both, why not? I wouldn't exactly call either of them an easy degree-of-difficulty team, but if you find they don't suit you, no great loss.

Yep. As Slann, playing vs high elves is the BEST! Especially that moment when they go 'wait, why doesn't my safe throw work?' after you 2+ intercepted their pass.
