I have a Mac. Please Forgive my lack of Knowledge for computer terms. On my computer, the Christer/Fumbbl Java Access (found in Java Security) says that it is out of date. The only way I can play or spec games, is by right clicking the game, on down loads, and giving each game access. I've tried to renew the Christer/Fumbbl java access, but it hasn't worked. Since I can access it the other way it isn't a big deal for me. I would try clicking into Java and accessing the security options. See what it says. I hope that helps.

Not Authenticated is the words I was searching for.

@Keggie, that actually sounds like your java just isn't up to date.

i think i might have found the problem. its not launching the jre, the Java Runtime Enviroment. Now how to fix it?

the part where it loads the players is the part that doesn't happen.

Thanks Wreckage. I am pretty sure I did do an update, but never looked into much. It was working without much of an inconvenience, so I parked it.

Did you try turning it off and on again? :P
Actually, I had the same problem for a while and I thought it was to do with my security settings blocking the client after a Windows update. But I fixed it by changing my security to open-house, reinstalling java and then rebooting, so who knows what the problem really was?

castleman, if you are launching with the wrong file, right click on your ffb.jnlp -> open with... browse to your java folder, look for a file called javaws.exe ...use that to always open your .jnlp files..
