The only problem with Ranked is the amount of pickers now are just ridiculous. Its soo tough to get a game.

But yeah I know where Chainsaw is coming from, Bloodbowl is just such a broken game really. I've been getting really cheesed off of late too and I never used to whine but have found my self doing it more and more because the dice are just so ridiculous in this game.

As for powerplayers I don't see these in ranked, unless you just mean people stalling and stuff. But everyone plays to win. If you don't stall you don't win at a high enough level. The only other thing I think you could be talking about is min maxing but i dont really see much of that in ranked apart from a couple of teams. But everyone should just refuse to play them on principle.

I don't think picking in R is any worse than it's ever been, but maybe in Euro time zones there's been some change.

Chainsaw seems to get games easy enough anyway, his issue seems to go beyond just bad dice though, if you want to read into some of his recent blogs/game recaps anyway.

Attitude adjustment is the answer, but that's not one most people are capable of.

I'm starting to think stunty may be the best place to play too, every game is just such a silly dice fest that you expect it and don't care about the results etc... its just fun and probably more balanced because it is so daft.

Real bb thinks it has some semblance of balance which just makes it so frustrating.

I think that's the issue here Chainsaw. You run an amazing lucker game winning 6-0 and complain that it should have been 8-0!

Then you concede turn 3 in a game after failing some roll or something...

It's not the dice. It's not the game. It is your attitude.

Maybe you can adjust it, maybe you can't, maybe you don't care either way.

All this indignified attention-seeking posting of late is getting out of hand, mate. Clearly you have developed some unhealthy behaviours with regard to Fumbbl. You should take a good long break from the site as a whole. Cancel your tourney matches, change your password to something obscure, delete Fumbbl from your favorites, and do something else entirely. It's summer after all!

@ Garion, tell me one complex board game less broken than Blood Bowl. And please don't say LRB 4.

How about chess with Bloodbowl peices, to slowly wean you off to a game of pure skill and no luck? Are there two teams with enough positionals? ;)
