FUMBBL Cup XII Day 6
I can't spec [m]any games today. If somebody has an idea for a summary, PM me or comment and I'll add it.

On the pitch is one of the highest TV teams in the competition, 2520TV Dark Elves Famous Vegetarians give up 900TV of inducements to Undead Better Red Than Undead. You don't get such a healthy side to such a high TV by playing competitive games and, rerolls gone, the dark elves come undone with a needless fumbled pass late in the 1st half and fail to score. Their overwhelming skill seems to have cornered the undead though, when a chainsaw blitz takes out (-MA apo to MNG) a blitzer and clears for a shock 1-0 lead. The elves take it to OT and should be 11 vs 8 but the referee is asleep and both secret weapons take to the field. Much arguing on the sidelines and in the stands ensues and it looks like the undead have secured a shock win, the ghoul with the ball just needs to slip the markers and... fails! The elves recover and avoid the banana skin.

Two top teams meet as Necromantics Death Crowns All face Dwarves [B] Sons of Grungni. The dwarves receiving and there's an early set back as a super star blocker is seriously injured, but the Sons do what dwarves do best and grind their necromantic opponents down, killing both wights in the process. DCA face an uphill task 2nd half with 2 of their best players out already, but when it rains it pours and a rock knocks out a wolf. They get smashed with 2 more dead including the other wolf but it, unlike the wights, regenerates. In the end it's a comfortable win.

It's another big clash as Lizardmen 16 Blocks rolling dice take on Necromantics Drakensberg Raiders. It's a tough start for the necros who are soon outnumbered on their own drive and concede - 16 Blocks not even needing to deploy their wizard. The Raiders begin the 2nd half with a legend wolf and 2 wights still knocked out. A bad day to be necromantic, it seems, as another looks to be going out. The remaining wolf has other ideas and singlehandedly hunts down the ball as the Raiders stage a dramatic comeback, scoring on defense to set up overtime then winning the game.

So what happened with the secret weapons in the Dark Elf vs. Undead game (first newsflash)? Did the client not do something correctly or did the Undead coach have bribes?

Also got my game in today. My Boxcutters faced King_Ghidra's Silvermine Skullcleavers, who chose to kick. Ground out the 1st for 1-0, managed to force the score on turn 14, and sealed the win when OT was looking likely thanks to a 5+ last turn pass.
