Primary Ball Handler Skill Choice
PigĂssimo from Bath City Bladuds is the primary ball handler and has just picked up his 4th skill. However, I am unsure as to what skill to take (on a normal roll).

I'm thinking either ball handling skills like Sure Hands or Big Hand or staying alive skills such as Fend.

Any ideas welcome.

Update: I've taken Sure Hands as was the general consensus.

I'd go Sure hands, to foil strip ball attempts

What an odd question.

SH, then SS?

Sure Hands, it is always useful to NOT waste an RR on a pickup and stops strip ball. If you get doubles, sure SS.

what you really want from here out though is +Ma, Anna Wu at her height might have been the greatest beast ball carrier all times.

If he were Ag 3, SH 100% (some of the above seem to miss that he's not Ag 3). But w/ Ag 4, if he is not the primary ball ~carrier~, maybe not - 2+ is already pretty good, and if you're playing it right you only receive a kick 1x/game - so it helps there 1/6 games (more in practice, natch).

After that, if he hands off a lot, he doesn't need "survival" skills as much (and is not worried about Strip), as the attention shifts to the new ballcarrier - but if he delivers the ball to the goal personally, then SH has added value - and someone on your team really should have it v. Strip.

Big Hand is a HUGE defensive threat when coupled w/ Ag 4 (pickup any ball anywhere 35/36 w/ RR), but puts him in harm's way more often (and adds to the "big target" factor).

(2 Heads is good too (esp if not much Tackle is on horizon) - dodge like an elf, since he already has Dodge.)

SH makes him your primary Blodge Ballcarrier, BH makes him valuable on both O & D, Fend keeps him alive longer (and also free from TZ's), esp in high-PO environments. Dealer's choice.

He is gonna keep that ball until the opposing team is so weakened that the chaos coach can start thinking about scoring with someone else, until that time he will use his blodge, ag4, sure hands to make it very difficult to sack him and very hard to stop him from scoring if the drive keeps being interesting.
