I used to think that like all beard wearers Ahmadinejad was cool, but attacking a poor defenceless psychic cephalopod is just plain wrong.

I dont see why he doesnt rant about Jehova's Witnesses instead. The octopus is at least defensible as "just a bit of fun".

The bit I love most about the story is the way the telegraph quotes Ahmadinejad talking about "his enemies". Unless its a translation issue theres no way thats an actual quote. Which kind of makes a mockery of the whole idea of quoting people.

Haha, I love the creepiness in how a man that denies the Holocaust is talking about striving for human perfection too. Iran would be better off with the octoupus as a leader.

It's always like this with religious people, I bet you can find christians in America too who think Paul is some kind of witch. They seem to assume that secular westerners ACTUALLY believe that Paul can predict the future, or at least that he knows a lot about football. Because to them, religion is not a choice, it's just fact, and they cannot see the world from a secular perspective.

I hate the telegraph, but I thought this article was actually quite funny :)
