8th match : caged?
So I played against a pretty new player this time (2nd game ever). A fling team with 2 trees, where did I see that before? Oh right, my 3-0 loss to Koadah in Rookie Cup 63!

But despair not, I now knew what to expect, and my opponent was not an expert (yet). So I managed a 2-0 win.

Early on I managed to get a pass from the very back of my zone (where the kick landed) through the line of scrimmage, so all I had to do was avoid/tackle the little guys until I got a clear view of the end zone. But in the meantime my RO KOd one of the 2 trees, so I decided stalling was my best option. Plus, I probably wouldnt have the time to steal the ball and score again. 1-0 at HT.

Then the tree missed both its KO rolls, so it didnt come back. Sweet. He go the ball and tried protecting it in his zone, but I managed to bring enough guys in to beat them up and leave with the ball. Followng the advice I got, I let my most starry GR take the ball and stall until the game ended, securing me a 2-0 victory with a skill on a GR. Even better : MVP went to the RO and he rolled a double, getting him a S point!

What did I learn today?
- Knowing my enemy seems to be helping me a lot. Not just skills, but also the feel of the army in general.
- I'm really improving my block tactics.
- League doesn't count toward my rank/rating/bananapoints.
- Apparently I should ALWAYS take S upgrades when available. I would have done so without question on any other player, but RO I wasnt really sure : already had S5. I did anyway, we'll see.
- "bitch" is a kickable word in the chat

So with a 3rd win in a row I guess I really did improve, but I mostly succeeded against teams I already faced beforehand. Looking forward to playing a couple matches against other teams soon for extra XP points (I'm almost at level up!!!)

Also, my match report bug has been solved, it came from having unusual characters in my password. Thanks admins!

I fyour RO rolled a double on his skill roll you can choose from all skill categories. But the standard choice for a double on a Big Guy is Block. Means less turnovers due to your RO rolling pow/skull pow/skull.;)
