So with the holydays approaching, I have very little left to play anymore. Among the games I have left to play, I have one against Norse. I never saw Norse before and I haven't played much in a while. So I asked around in Academy for a game and ended up making a Norse team of my own for the game, against woodys.

I was very lucky. And in the first half in particular, my opponent definately wasn't. We both made a couple mistakes early on, but I quickly got the hang of it and kept sending more and more elfs out of the field. I ended up winning 3-0 and leaving 4 elfs standing.

What did I learn today?
- Rust goes off very quickly, but it needs to go. Blatant mistakes early on.
- Frenzy is both a good thing and a bad thing. The bad thing being you always need to double-block if you push the player. It must be very tough to create "frenzy traps" and it seems out of my league right now, but my opponent doing frenzy mistakes would really help me. I'm talking about the 2nd block being -2D mostly. I'll need to check on that eventually.
- Jump up really seemed great to me on paper. But I failed to see how easy it is to leave this player block-less most of the time. Not following blocks is a key here.
- I'm taking a liking in trying other races once in a while. But having 10+ teams, especially a couple of similar ones, confuses me.
- 1-sided luck games are decidedly not as fun as the "equal luck" ones. It happens. But I'm sure we'll be able to play again soon with better luck :)

Can't wait to be able to play more :) At the moment I'm concentrating on "must-play" games.
