FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

So I played a couple cool games

And then I disappeared for the holydays. Thought I'd be able to play a bit, but that didn't happen. But now I'm back! Registered in a couple leagues and tourneys. And to welcome me back is none other than Flashback13, who I have a game against with my team called Bruno Blanchet Impersonations. He plays skavens. You don't get signs much bigger than this. And a fun game it was, with my first try at Nurgle Rotters. But I still lost 3-1.

And just today I had my crack at another of OCCS' events : the tourney at max 150CR. But things can't go too well when you enter a beat up team, and you get matched up against a CR170 opponent with a team as close to perfect as can be. I did what I could, but he was just too much for me and I lost 3-2.

What did I learn?
- That last pre-holyday game against Lawman, I'll need to watch and rewatch it. He completely outskilled me.
- Entering a TR150 tourny with a beaten up TR126 team isn't the greatest idea ever. But I didn't have any illusions and mostly joined for fun, a win would have been a bonus. The game was still very enjoyable.
- Need to get the rust off : no-dice actions first! Double-check to see if I missed any!
- Need to learn more about Stand Firm
- Don't forget Stupidity.
- Bruno Blanchet doesn't fail and provides great entertainment (so far at least)
- Need more learning on 1-turners (the pushs)

So now I have a very crippled team, but it does have a M10 gutter with Sprint, meaning he can 1-turn without having to be pushed around. Should I give it a try? Should I just retire it now?

EDIT #75 or so : finally managed to make it work thanks to Vimes and Koadah, thanks guys.

And also, the replayer just got massive display problems. The sections of the screen have unusual sizes, and I can't see much else than the field now. Am I the only one wth that problem?

I've seen the end of your match against Barash's dwarfs ! If I remember well, he put three stand firm players on the line of scrimmage in the very last turn. I don't think you can one-turn against them, no ?

Anyways, that last TD was impressive for sure :D

Our match between my Cheezy Poofs and your Bruno Blanchet Impersonations was fun, but a few more victories like that one and I may have to retire the rats (3 SI niggle, MNG). Ouch. Welcome back :)
