Miniatures for Tabletop Lizards
Hi,

I'm considering getting myself a lizardmen team for tabletop, so I'm looking at options for miniatures:

Currently, my primary option are the Greebo ones for 50 euros.

I'm not a big fan of the GW ones weighing in at 61 euros while lacking 2 sauri.

An outside option would be acquiring 2 additional blitzer minis (and maybe catchers as well) to add on to my Gaspez slann team, and then using blitzers as sauri and catchers as skinks. It's certainly nice and cheap, but I find that the difference between the blitzers and the catchers on the slann isn't big enough to represent sauri vs skinks well.

Do you guys know of any other great options that I've missed, or do you have some other advice?

I used converted Temple Guard WHFB saurus for mine. They fit well on the pitch, look mean, and have a variety of helmets for player marking/differentiation.

I like both the Greebo and GW ones tbh. Greebo's have lots of character, but don't really fit the fluff, where the GW ones have a cool theme. I have the GW krox, and I really like him.

Another option, but I don't know how easy it is, is: Before this range, GW did another range of lizardmen figures, I think they're as good or better than the newer ones (probably pricey if you can get them even).

Greebo's Tutatis range has some nice figures in the Reptilian Council. 10 mm scale, so only for the skinks really, but there are some smaller frogs if you wanted to use your Slann as Saurus idea.

I will (*) use Gaspez frogs blitzers/catchers as sauri, Gaspez Frog Big Guy as Kroxi and Gaspez Chameleons as skinks.

(*) they are on the shelves, unpainted, waiting their turn... hope they'are patient :)

Green Stuff is pretty easy to work with when it comes to conversions, just use a little water so it dont get sticky
