i just saw that i can apply with nonstunty teams aswell.
what happens if the tournament admin lets my khemri in? could the client mix field stunty vs nonstunty teams?
and how did you guys reach such high tv with these stunties anyway? in my experience all players just die. but on both sides.

You can apply any team to any tournament in the system. Doesn't mean they're eligible to play in them, though. =)

yeah i understood that :)
of course i may name a big team like some stunties and try to sneak them past
i just wondered if it was possible for the client to handle stunty vs non stunty
or would the server crash?

There ARE inter-division tournaments, so maybe...

That was fun, playing stunty leeg against stream followers and talking to them over skype as well. Got cyanide top lizard coach Hoyleyboy back to fumbbl for the first time in years too!

I can't help but feel any blog by you or JF is just a twitching plug in disguise. Is there some bonus for getting more specs or something?

To be honest this blog has moved back and forth a little; first I announced the necromiser as I was a bit surprised there weren't any stunties on gamefinder. Later last night I decided to actually stream Leeg. Rather than add a second blog, I focused this blog on that instead. When I was finished streaming, I balanced back between the two.
As for why: I really enjoy chatting with people on the stream. Now FUMBBL doesn't draw a big crowd (while I was streaming Leeg to 25 people, Jimmy was streaming BB2 to 180 people), but it is a community that I really enjoy chatting with, and the streams are a great way to do so.
Now there IS a little bit of money to be made on twitch. Many smaller streams take donations. Bigger streams can become 'twitch partner' offer subscriptions and take a cut from the advertising money; I don't think I'll ever reach that; Jimmy might as he seems to draw a bigger crowd so far.
If making money on twitch was my main goal, I wouldn't be streaming fumbbl at all. I think that reaching more people with good bloodbowl, be it Leeg, Ranked, or Cyanide helps our hobby in the long run. While only watched by 25 people, last night's stream did encourage a couple of people to play Leeg, and even had Hoyleyboy (#1 lizard, #4 overall coach on BB2) rejoin fumbbl after years to also play some Leeg.
I no longer put up fumbbl blogs to simply announce 'I'm streaming again', as I think most fumbbl people who would be interested in watching me play random games of bloodbowl 2 have noticed that I do this (they can choose to get notified about when I go online via twitch, twitter or facebook, and I don't want to keep pestering on a nightly basis). Then again, posting such blogs in the first place did get Christer to come watch the stream a few times already, which I really enjoyed.
When I stream fumbbl games, or a tournament, I'd like to think that's potentially interesting for fellow fumbblers to watch (and chat about on-stream). In those cases, a blog post is simply the most effective way of informing people on the site.
