I love elves, but I'm in it for the blanket AG4 and I can manage without blanket high MA or lots of starting skills. AV helps me keep my players on the pitch, and makes manmarking much more feasible.
It's also true that rolling +ST twice after 4 matches did make mine into a bashier than average elf team. However, my priority is still on scoring touchdowns. Consider my +15 TD and -16 Cas in 38 games as a case in point.

Last, it's even true that, at my last skillup, I've selected piling on (for the first time ever I believe, on a player who rolled his third doubles and is now a blodgeless bloatfish. I hope he either dies or becomes a superstar before too long.)

Aside from whether or not I am 'part of the problem', I am not just making fun of pomb (though the double entendre of the words is the core of the poemb), I'm making fun of the entire mentality associated with the homoerotic worshipping of fighter pilots and (in parallel) the belittling of other coaches.

Jimmy, the trick is your 'making fun' only works when you have 12 buddies around to laugh at everything you say. ;) the_Sage is funny to people who don't even know him.

@Macavity; it's not a feud, really (or at least it wasn't =P ). I just came up with it all of a sudden (well the first and especially the last lines came at once, the rest took about two minutes). Having come up with it, I couldn't resist sharing. Glad you like it!

tbh I've only played a single match vs each of the coaches; won one, lost the other. It's mainly the immature forum and blog presence that I'm (allergically) responding to.
