Enjoying Nurgle and carrier from hell.
I recently made a nurgle team. The reason to make it was that Nurgle was the only race I had never played yet. I did not expect much from them except adding variety to this beauty of a game. I certainly didn't expect to average 2 TDs per game. Even at low TV, I was soon amazed at Nurgle's potential, even at low TV. This was before I built the basher, even. They play like slow lizardmen, but foul appearance and disturbing presence are so fun and frustrating to opponents.

Adding to that mix some amazing early skill rolls, 12 games later I can also introduce you to Herbert, the ball carrier from hell.

I've always liked the background to Nurgle. Preferred the LRB 4 team, with their fragility, though it wasn't very fluffy, I think the new team isn't as fun.

Love the icons though, best icon set outside of Stunty. Particularly some of the rotters.

I wouldn't know HM, child of this generation m'self. Icons are nice, yes.

Afraid not bg. If he reaches legend, I can't see myself taking anything other than tackle, or another stat increase. Besides, A4S4+horns isn't as leapy as A4S3+horns+VLL, like this guy: http://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=7986346

nurgle are terrible, sorry to say it but you have either been playing below par coaches or been very lucky. They do become a great team from 1600TV up imo, even if you dont go the cpomb heavy route, but at rookie level they are just terrible. soo many games are just destroyed by rolling double skulls as the first action of a turn two or three turns running and you dont have enough rrs to cope with them dice. They do have potential though dice permitting, to cause a nice amount of damage early on. but they are soo dependant on not rollings 1s or 2s on the block dice.

+1 to that. I have struggled in a big way with my nurgle's first 10 games, and feel fortunate after every win. I imagine someday it will get easier - maybe after logos are shown again. I did much better when my logo was on the pitch. ;)

The hard part with Nurgle to learn not to use all blocking opportunities. With that said it may go south anytime, but by denying some blocks gives better chance to preserve reroll. You can also work for 3d blocks as the team has lots of strength. (Same is true for khemri too)

A mix of both Garion. Of course not playing against goblins/flings helps too. =) And having a ST4 pest from game 2 on helps a bit as well.

yes a good pestigor is key really. if you can get an ag4 carrier, a st4 carrier or a Ma8 carrier quickly then it makes a HUGE difference.

I think I will give them ago in ranked sometime soon though. I dont think I have played them in ranked since LRB4 and they were a whole lot worse back then.

WARNING! everyone who don't pick in R is just a fool. R is a HIGHLY competitive division of FUMBBL and since you can choose your matches, it's up to you to choose a match that 1)you think you can win and 2)will give you the right spps. If you are there to play a match at any cost, play B; if you don't mind the rankings play L.

said that.... that's an amazing cow for sure.
