Awesome game but agree with Lorebass. Most of us Fumbblers aren't interested in your Twitch stuff, so don't sneak it on us, that's not the kind of Easter egg we're looking for. ;-P

I enjoyed the twitch feed, and I'm not sure how much of a "sneak" it was when he specified it was the whole match and mentioned, if you're not into commentary there's also the fumbbl replay, but yes, it could have been more clear.

I really enjoyed the twich feed/commentary though. I haven't watched in the past, but I tuned in to see what you were talking about regarding T16. One of the most impressive OTTDs I've ever seen.

I ended up "staying around" and watched all of OT too. Some great play from both sides. I really liked PurpleChest's double chain push to try and defend that final play. Very impressive stuff.

Most Twitch people aren't interested in "my fumbbl stuff" either (there's about a fivefold decrease in viewer count, compared to BB2), but I still like promoting our great site and client.

Not sure why a twitch broadcast is a bad thing.. A high level Fumbll replay with coach commentary seems like a good thing to me. Ive tried watching BB2 stuff and the interface doesnt work for me as a viewer so this is very welcome.

One I also feel was largely decided by a missclick at the start of overtime which prevented an adequate defence. Still a fun game.

You are right Purplechest, I suppose I should have notified you that I would stream the match (as I do all my bloodbowl games), and could have also sent you a courtesy PM when I posted this blog.

It is of course impossible to tell how the game would have gone without that misclick; te excellent KO rolls, the nigh-impossible OTTD, and the overtime toss and the misclick certainly all contributed to stealing the game from you after it was > 99% yours when you scored the 2-1.

ianuk, I think most people here have a thing against the twitch stream primarily because it mostly features BB2 games. Many FUMBBLers have a very strong 'us vs them' mentality when it comes to cyanide. I had hoped that continuing to stream fumbbl, and only posting BB2 stuff here when it's short bits that are too good to miss out on, would somewhat help against that. It may do for some, and not for others. Meh; I can live with that.

It's not just coach commentary either; the interaction with the chat (and between the folks in chat) is a lot of fun to me. It's like a mix between #fumbbl on irc when it was still alive, and speccing a majors game, except the coach(es) can join the spectator chat and interact with it. I sometimes also invite my opponent to join me on skype so we can co-commentate and do our in-game banter on the stream, which can be a lot of fun as well.

Replaying the game was fun. The 3rd turn of the second half was majestic.

I wasn't sure about the chainpush at the end of OT, but if the dodge succeeds for the blitz, I would have been.

I am a big fan of any blogs that post replays of good/fun/exciting/unusual games without spoilers, makes watching the replay much more fun.

I also think downrating any blogs with any association to cyanide is a bit pathetic.

As a coach who plays BLOODBOWL (as opposed to limiting myself to fumbbl, tabletop, or cyanide), I do think it's a pity that we are three communities, rather than one. (and that being part of all three diminishes you in some eyes). It's like bloody religion, folks.
"I don't care if it's great bloodbowl; don't bring your filthy cyanide highlights to fumbbl because we'll downvote you." Wait, what? It saddens me to see so many people take a tribal attitude (in all three communities).
I sense the same in pure TT folks about online play, and whenever I stream fumbbl, cyanide viewers will make fun of the graphics before they stop watching. All of us could do with a bit of sense that, in any implementation, bloodbowl is the best game ever. We have a lot more in common with cyanide or tabletop coaches than we do with the rest of the world.
