With his latest succes with predictions on the probowl season 4, CabalVision has hired Robbert Graaf from Rotenbach Gazette to bring his view on the playoff picture in KFC.

For outsiders reading along. DLE is a draftleague with 32 teams build similar to NFL. 8 divisions of 4 teams, making up Sigmar Heldenhammer Conference(16 teams in 4 divisions) and Karl Franz Conference(16 teams in 4 divisions). From each 16 team group, the 4 division winners are through to the playoff. Alongside them we have 2 wildcards in each conference. So out of 16 teams 6 makes playoff. RG will try and predict who it is this season.

Playoff with Robbert Graaf - KFC edition

We start with KFC South. This is where my beloved Razorbacks are, so I know this division best.

Razorbacks did a doubleheader last night by first playing a 1-1 draw with 49'ers and then beating Eagles 2-0. Those results made them clinch the division with 3 games to go for the Razors. Razorbacks are in the playoff, and stares at a byeweek also. Eagles are tanking this season, and Scimitars are also out of the race. 49'ers have played 12 games of 16 and is 1 win behind no6 and a playoff berth. The rest of their schedule is against Sharks, Knights, Marauders and Scimitars. I can see 2 wins, a draw and a loss in these games. With the fierce competition and a statement from coach Neubau about tanking for the rest of the season, I don't see 49'ers make the playoff.

Moving on to KFC West.

Here we have Patriots, Classics, Griffins and Thunderbolts. Griffins and Thunderbolts are out of the race, and Griffins took some heavy blows in the first half of the season putting them behind. Patriots have not secured the division over Classics yet, but that is very close to happening. Classics are on 14 games, and Patriots are on 12 games. Pats must loose 3 and play a draw and Classics must win the last 2. This means Patriots got the division, and Classics are in the mix for a wildcard. Patriots looks to claim the other byeweek ticket, in a dual run with Razorbacks.
Classics are 6/5/3 and sitting on a the first Wildcard now, but can be caught by a bunch of other teams. Remainig schedule is Griffins and Legion. They can win both games, and that makes them a strong contender. Will they make it? I say YES! Classics are in playoff with 2 wins in the last games. Classics will end with 8/5/3 record.

Next division is KFC East.

In this division we have Gunners, Thunder, River Bandits and Sluggers. River bandits and Sluggers are out of the race. Gunners and Thunder are in the fight for the divisiontitle. Gunners are 6/4/2 and Thunder are 5/4/3. Both have played 12 games. Gunners 1 win up. Fight is on! But Gunners will do better in the remaining schedule, so they will clinch the division. Thunder are in the race for a wildcardspot. Thunder are facing Vikings, Crimson Cascade, River Bandits and Wolfskins. My guess is Thunder will end with a 7/5/4 record. Will they make playoff? I say YES! We will have Thunder in the playoffs this season.

The last division is KFC North.

And what a division. Everything is at stake here. Unicorns(1Horns) are leading with a 7/3/3 record and 13 games played. Right in their ponytale we have both Foxes and Cardinals with a 6/2/4 record and 12 games played. The last team universe is out of the race, mainly because of a very unlucky forfeit game earlier in the season. Times got mixed up, and deadline was crossed.
In week 13 Foxes and Cards faceoff in a winner takes all game. If they draw they are 1 win behind 1Horns with equal games played. I think this result is very likely, as none of them can take a loss. In the remaining schedule they both meet 1Horns in some very decisive games also. Even though 1horns had taken some beating this season I think they will run off with the division. Both teams got a rough final 3 games. I think Cards will end with a 7/3/6 record and Foxes will end with 7/4/5 record getting them just ahead of Cards. Cards are out! And because of the rough finishing schedule Foxes will also lose out to Thunder.

Patriots(byeweek), Razorbacks(byeweek), Gunners(division), 1Horns(division), Classics(wildcard) and Thunder(wildcard) will make the playoff.
