Well I think for long term Goblin players, its a mix of masochism and trying to get as much out of the little guys as possible. As you said though they can be pretty bad at times but when you play them enough you just accept it as the humble regular occurrence. The fact they require very different strategies on D and O compared to more traditional teams probably is an issue for new gob coaches.

That said, I think Habeli,Odi and Gob teams like Clockwork green have shown at least that while getting a positive record is pretty damn hard it is far from impossible with them. I think with the massive swing on the secret weapons as compulsory has not helped them a bit, as, while the gobbo roster itself is quite reliant on semi-decent rolls, plans relying on weapons en mass are just inevitably going to fail. While having the bomber/fanatic and chainsaw all in one drive, in practice it really is not that practical.

Even with my rather poor streak with them recently, they are still my favourite team. Just my 2 cents.

I am sorry, but you are surprised at the fact that Goblins get beaten into a pulp by your opponents? What else were you expecting from teams with a large amount of AV7 and the stunty skill?... If you play Goblins, I'd say you'd have to expect the loss, go for at least a draw and cherish the wins.

Until they get the 2 secret weapons to work right, the gobblins can't truly show there worth, and until then your not playing with a real gobbo team, I love them too, but the bombadier alone can change the game in an instant and wreaks such havic that there is no comparason between what we have to play with and what the working gobbo team does
